Lumber for the framing and roof trusses (triangular, bolstered frames that help the roof) and girts (horizontal nailing boards that are nailed to the posts; siding is anchored to the grits); 2-by-4s for the frame and purlins (boards that are nailed across the top of the trusses and concrete columns contractor are used to attach the roofing); 2-by-6s for roof stringers (boards that are positioned horizontally at the highest edge of the poles, supporting the roof and the trusses)

Another insight was a reminder that the economy goes in cycles. Recessions -- even depressions -- end ultimately. What I realized was that this cycle has been unusual because the housing bubble was a direct cause of the recession. For that cause, housing has been slower than normal to get well, and has been a follower somewhat than a pacesetter in the broader restoration. However as things begin to lookup, all that pent-up demand for housing has an impact, and new development will follow.

Parallel runways -- The distance between the two runways depends upon the scale and variety of aircraft using the airfield. Close parallels have lower than 2,500 feet between runways; intermediate parallels are between 2,500 and 4,300 toes (762 and 1,310 meters) apart; and far parallels are better than 4,300 feet apart. Twin-line layouts characteristic two units of parallels spaced 4,300 toes apart.
