- To have engaged, on or after January 2, 2013, in corruption or other actions regarding the diversion of products, together with agricultural commodities, food, medicine, and medical units, intended for the people of Iran;
- To have engaged, on or after January 2, 2013, in corruption or different actions referring to the misappropriation of proceeds from the sale or resale of goods described in subsection (a)(i) of this section;
- To have materially assisted, sponsored, or provided monetary, material, or technological help for, or items or companies to or in help of, the actions described in subsection (a)(i) or (a)(ii) of this part or any individual whose property and interests in property are blocked pursuant to this section; or
- To be owned or controlled by, or to have acted or purported to act for or on behalf of, immediately or not directly, any person whose property and pursuits in property are blocked pursuant to this section.

Professor of psycholinguistics Nuria Sagarra agrees that learners of vastly differing languages have a better challenge forward: "If your native language is more similar to the overseas language (e.g. your native language has wealthy morphology and you're learning a distinct wealthy morphology, reminiscent of a Russian studying Spanish), issues might be easier."
