Around noon we headed over the Pop's Dockside Grill and Raw Bar. We heard about the rotating weekly Sunday buffet so we wanted to give that a try. We were very pleased and our bellies showed it. They must have the world's best fried chicken. Now I'm a good cook but the traditional Southern food there just knocked my socks off. From the green beans with ham, to the dessert cobbler you could tell everything was homemade. The place was hopping all morning into the afternoon since they serve the buffet until 6pm. It isn't a line up of trays though. You just tell the server what you want from the buffet items and they bring you a fresh plate each time. I could have lived there for a few days they way we ate.
Alternatively, you can always rent a yacht for a few days. You can rent yachts for anywhere from $300 to $1000 a day, although sometimes it can cost even more. Renting a yacht is a great idea for events such as a birthday party, anniversaries, big company events, and even weddings. What a great way to turn an average party into an elegant, grand affair.

Set up a romantic dinner by the beach (as you originally planned) with the waves as an alternative to romantic music and finish the night off by walking along the shore with the water splashing on your feet.

I find many renters will try to float it on the trailer too slow in high winds and a number of things can go wrong. It's hard to keep it straight when you try to float it on the trailer in high winds. Think of flying a small plane in high winds, if you can come in with a little power you won't be as susceptible in high winds to being pushed left or right. Same thing in a boat, when you let off on the power the boat will drift one way or the other because of the waves pushing you a tad one way or the other. Also, like a plane landing, if anything is not right, GO AROUND EARLY AS POSSIBLE! Don't be embarrassed. Take another shot at lining up correctly so at your 20 foot mark you'll know if you want to go for it or back up and try again.
