Sailing Yacht Vacation

Around noon we headed over the Pop's Dockside Grill and Raw Bar. We heard about the rotating weekly Sunday buffet so we wanted to give that a try. We were very pleased and our bellies showed it. They must have the world's best fried chicken. Now I'm a good cook but the traditional Southern food there just knocked my socks off. From the green beans with ham, to the dessert cobbler you could tell everything was homemade. The place was hopping all morning into the afternoon since they serve the buffet until 6pm. It isn't a line up of trays though. You just tell the server what you want from the buffet items and they bring you a fresh plate each time. I could have lived there for a few days they way we ate.



If you are yearning for some beach action, you can never lack for anything with the thousands of miles of beaches along the Cote d'Azur. Antibes, St. Tropez and Cannes are among the best beaches in France. You can go sailing, jet skiing, parasailing, snorkeling and just plain swimming. rent a yacht for the day and slice through the blue-green waters of the Mediterranean.

Really the only way to get to the best snorkel spots in the BVI is by boat charter. There are 2 different kinds of boat charters. There are the big boats that haul a lot of people, who price their trips "per person," and there is the private charter boats that will take just a small group like you, your friends or family, who charge by "the boat". Obviously, the big boats can be cheaper if there are only 1 or 2 of you, but a family or group of 6 or so friends will find they can get a private charter for about the same price. The benefit to the private charter is that you choose where you want to go and how long you stay at each place. The bigger boats tend to have a set itinerary, plus they can be a little like traveling in a school bus with all the other people.

Take a week off work and let your family members do so as well. hiring house boats, and get out there. Not only will you become closer with your family members, but also you'll be able to relax and be unstressed.

You can get the family together and get a boat rental and charter, and discover the outdoors together with family. You can choose between many boats to rent, such as houseboats or day boats, or even deck boats, depending on what you plan on doing. Boat rental and charter is a great activity to do and you really should consider doing it.

Ask if the price is negotiable. Most boat owners would rather rent out their boat for slightly less than not at all, so don't hesitate to ask, even if you are dealing with a charter broker company. Make sure to ask what the "hidden" or extra costs are - and if they can be included in the price listed.
