I was so thankful for the sunshine and warmth. It felt good. I watched as the bikers gathered into small groups and talked with one another. I smelled the sweet fragrance of a cigar and searched for the man it belonged to. It smelled good. Something about it made me think about sitting next to a warm fire all cozy and warm. Then, I heard my husband talking and looked up to see him walking toward me with a chocolate ice cream cone. We shared the ice cream. It tasted good. Cold, but good. As we took turns eating the ice cream we met Cindy. She told us it was her first ride by herself. WooHoo! I wasn't the only virgin on the ride!

Another, idea that struck me. Heated seats. This is actually a fairly simple idea. You can pull them from any factory-equipped car. Try the local aftermarket car parts. Just make sure they can bench test them before you walk out the door. You'll want the thermostat control with this, which can be mounted under the tail for adjustment while riding. Basically, heated seats are no more then a heating pad element that sits under the upholstery, a top the padding. The heating elements average about 100-140 degrees F. I did a search for "Upholstery Heating Elements" and came up with some good results and even installation instructions and tutorials for various seats. Both OEM and retro fits.

As children get older they need a car that works outside as they started playing with friends. There is a car for kids that does work great outside, inexpensive, and can bring years of enjoyment. These are pedal cars, very much like the go kart I had as a child. Pedal cars are larger than push cars and work great outdoors, especially on hard surfaces. These cars are driven through a pedal and chain system just like ones found on bicycles so they are easy to operate and enjoyed a lot more by older kids than push cars.



The gas for the car is a combination of nitromethane and castor oil. You can purchase this mixture in any hobby store. Always be aware that gas is not what makes these cars run. The power for these cars is much different and regular gas could cause your engine to blow up. If you are planning on making this a serious hobby be sure to keep this in mind.

The easiest way to decorate for a party is with themed tableware and lots of balloons! Select Cars 2 paper tableware, centerpiece, banner, and any other birthday decorations available that you like. If you don't want to sink a lot of money in decorations and already have some Cars or Cars 2 Movie toys, just set them around randomly about the room. Also, a Cars 2 Movie poster will make a great party decoration and double as a gift! If you own one, have a Cars movie playing on the TV as background.

Most scrap yards will not allow you to sell your car to them with a battery in it anyway, however you can sell the car battery separately for more money, if you know where to go, these usually bring between $8.00-$15.00 apiece.
